The Software Quality Group focuses on scientific research, development and transfer of software engineering models, methods and tools and software engineering education in order to support the improvement of software quality and productivity.
Our main research areas include:

- Software Engineering and Management Education/Educational Games
- Software Project Management
- Human-Computer Interaction/Usability Engineering and Design
- Software Process Assessment and Improvement (CMMI – ISO/IEC 15504 – MPS.BR)
